TRILLVISION Film Festival: March Drop 2026

The TRILLVISION Film Festival: March Drop Short Film Showcase returns March 27–29, 2026 as a 100% virtual experience, connecting filmmakers and audiences from around the world. This three-day digital event will feature live virtual screenings, interactive panel discussions, and real-time engagement with creators and industry voices. We are currently seeking bold short films & short-form content including narrative films, documentaries, experimental work, internet videos, web series, vertical dramas and comedies, music videos, and short-form music content. March Drop is where fresh voices, new formats, and fearless storytelling take center stage.  Submission Deadline: February 21, 2026

Friday, March 27 (Virtual)
6:00 PM – The Vibe Check
Kick off the March Drop with our virtual opening session. We’ll walk attendees through the showcase portal, highlight key events, and most importantly, hear directly from the filmmakers. Each creator will introduce their film and share insights into their journey, vision, and process.

Saturday, March 28 (Virtual)
10:30 AM – Urban Films: Stories From the Culture
This panel explores how urban filmmakers are telling authentic, community-driven stories while navigating funding, distribution, and visibility in today’s evolving film landscape. Panelists will discuss balancing creative integrity with market demands and how digital platforms are reshaping access for urban voices.

12:30 PM – Film Crews: The Power Behind the Camera
Editors, cinematographers, sound designers, and other key crew members break down how collaboration shapes a project from concept to final cut. This discussion highlights real-world workflows, career pathways, and how crews can elevate storytelling in both indie and short-form productions.

 

2:30 PM - Music Videos & Music Promo Content

This panel dives into the art and strategy behind music videos and short-form music promo content in the streaming and social media era. Panelists will share how artists and filmmakers can create visually compelling content that builds audiences, brands, and cultural impact.

Sunday, March 29 (Virtual)
5:00 PM – The After Vibe (Chat)
We close out the March Drop inside the Drop Zone, our online discussion space. Audience awards will be announced, followed by final reflections from the Festival Director. This interactive chat session brings the community together to celebrate achievements, share reactions, and honor the filmmakers whose work made this year’s showcase unforgettable.

Submission Details

The TRILLVISION Film Festival: March Drop is now accepting submissions from creators and filmmakers ready to showcase bold, original short-form content. All submissions must be 40 minutes or less, with the submission deadline of February 21, 2026. Click the link to submit.
