TRILLVISION Film Festival Summer 2026

The TRILLVISION Film Festival returns August 14–16, 2026 as an exciting hybrid experience, bringing filmmakers and audiences together both virtually and in person at the NOHO 7 theater in the Los Angeles area. Dedicated to showcasing bold, original, and independent storytelling, TRILLVISION provides a global platform for emerging and established creatives to share their voices through film.

Filmmakers are invited to submit short films under 40 minutes for the opportunity to connect with audiences, fellow creators, and industry professionals from around the world. From powerful narratives to innovative visual storytelling, TRILLVISION celebrates creativity that pushes culture and cinema forward.

Schedule

Friday, August 14 (Virtual)
6:00 PM – Opening Ceremony
Kick off the festival with our virtual opening session. We’ll walk attendees through the festival portal, highlight key events, and most importantly, hear directly from the filmmakers. Each creator will introduce their film and share insights into their journey, vision, and process.


Saturday, August 15 (In Person at Noho 7 Theater)

10:30 AM – Short Film Screenings
Watch the selected films and join in on the filmmaker Q&A's.

Sunday, August 16  (Virtual)
5:00 PM – Closing Ceremony (Chat)
We close out the festival inside the Drop Zone, our online discussion space. Audience awards will be announced, followed by final reflections from the Festival Director. This interactive chat session brings the community together to celebrate achievements, share reactions, and honor the filmmakers whose work made this year’s showcase unforgettable.

Carmen Melinda is passionate about performing arts and visual storytelling. She finds joy in watching and discussing theater, film, and classic hip-hop for the artistic emotions they convey. Although never a performer, Carmen Melinda has worked in all fascist of live theater, film, and music production.
