Craig Thomas
Vega HeartBreak & M.C - MONDAY ft. Young Marlee Mar
Craig Thomas is a writer, producer, director from St. Louis, Missouri. He’s a product of his neighborhood, for better or worse. One day on his way home from basketball practice violence was cast upon him in the form of a man who snuck up behind him and literally slit his throat in hopes of stealing the $200 chain Craig was wearing. While he survived this attempted murder, two weeks later he had the unfortunate honor of being a pallbearer for his best friend/cousin who was killed a few blocks from where Craig was attacked. His reality, and the tangible scar of 21 stitches across his neck painted a life that was quite dire until he earned a basketball scholarship to Southwestern Oklahoma State. That’s where he excelled as a creative writer and learned to use his real life traumas to tell stories that the world doesn’t often get to see. To date, he’s been able to lend his creative vision, writing, and directing to a number of award winning music videos and indie feature films. He’s seen more than most, and loves to talk and write about it.
