The TRILLVISION team extends its congratulations to all of the winning filmmakers and to every creator who participated in this year’s March Drop. The level of creativity, originality, and storytelling continues to push the culture forward and inspire what’s next.
As we look ahead, TRILLVISION is now preparing for its hybrid film festival taking place August 14–16, 2026 at the NoHo 7 Theater in Los Angeles, where even more opportunities will be created for filmmakers to showcase their work and connect with industry professionals.

Kick off the March Drop with our virtual opening session. We’ll walk attendees through the showcase portal, highlight key events, and most importantly, hear directly from the filmmakers. Each creator will introduce their film and share insights into their journey, vision, and process.
Saturday, March 28 (Virtual)
10:30 AM – TRILL Talk: AI...Hollywood Boom or Bust?
From prompt to premiere, this panel explores whether AI is rewriting cinema’s future or rewriting filmmakers out of it.
12:30 PM – TRILL Talk: Live Zoom Screenings
A live interactive showcase where standout films from the March Drop screening series meet real-time audience feedback, followed by filmmaker Q&As that turn viewing into conversation. Moderator: Adriohn Richardson
2:30 PM - TRILL Talk: Post-Sinners, The future of African American Cinema
From Sinners to upcoming titles like They Will Kill You, You Me and Tuscany, and Michael, this panel maps the next horizon of African American storytelling on the global screen.
Sunday, March 29 (Virtual)
5:00 PM – The After Vibe (Chat)
We close out the March Drop inside the Drop Zone, our online discussion space. Audience awards will be announced, followed by final reflections from the Festival Director. This interactive chat session brings the community together to celebrate achievements, share reactions, and honor the filmmakers whose work made this year’s showcase unforgettable.

Carmen Melinda
Carmen Melinda is passionate about performing arts and visual storytelling. She finds joy in watching and discussing theater, film, and classic hip-hop for the artistic emotions they convey. Although never a performer, Carmen Melinda has worked in all fascist of live theater, film, and music production.
